The owners of theFilmPlace.com, Dave & Carol Evans, and daughter Alissa, have a long and ‘colorful’ history in the photographic industry. We have been involved as amateur snapshooters, professional photographers, teachers, and consultants. We have owned and operated an award winning retail photolab excelling in personalized customer service, and we volunteer our time and talents to local causes as our way of ‘giving back.’

Q: Is your film fresh? What about expiration dates? A: Yes, all of our film is guaranteed fresh, and is dated at least 12-15 months out. We don’t sell outdated or short dated film unless it is clearly marked and reduced to a special low price.
Q: Where will you ship, and what are your charges? A: We will ship anywhere in the world. For orders under $99, shipping in the US is $6.95, and outside the US is $9.95. For all orders over $99, we pay the shipping!
Q: Will you accept purchase orders or COD? A: In order to keep our prices low, we require orders to be prepaid, either via credit card, debit card, or e-check from your bank account. We will also accept mail orders with a money order or your personal or company check which will be shipped when the check has cleared our bank.
Q: Do you offer any quantity discounts? A: Yes, we can usually offer a better price on quantities of 50 rolls or more of the same film. It never hurts to ask!
Q: Can I return film if it is unopened? A: Because of the sensitive nature of photographic films, we cannot control how they are handled or stored after they leave us, so we do not accept returns on film. This policy ensures that all of our customers get fresh film that has been stored and handled properly. We will only accept returns if we have made an error in filling your order. Prior approval is requested. PLEASE double check your order before final checkout to make sure you have ordered the correct size and type!
Q: I hear a lot about identity theft, internet fraud, and spam email. What do you do to protect my personal information? A: First of all, we use PayPal as our payments processor. They are one of the most trusted, and most secure providers of ecommerce transaction processing available. They have extensive anti fraud systems in place, and we never even see your payment information. Regarding your email address, we will NEVER rent, sell, or share your email with anyone, and will only send you email about the products and services we offer on this site.
